• I was brought up in Belgium in a bilingual family with a British father and a French mother. After obtaining my European Baccalaureate in Luxembourg, I moved away for a Foundation Diploma in Art and Design at the Arts University of Bournemouth. The following year, I started a BA in Interior and Spatial Design in London at UAL: Chelsea College of Arts. I studied in Konstfack University College of Arts, Craft and Design for five months as part of an Erasmus exchange in Stockholm. I have now recently graduated from a MA in Design for Emergent Futures at IAAC, the Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia and ELISAVA Barcelona School of Design and Engineering in Barcelona.

  • I seek to explore the interconnections of different practices within the realms of technology, science, design and art, with the aspiration to better understand our status quo and take action. I seek to use design as a tool to respond, using a set of skills and knowledge, that will develop a sense of responsibility and awareness. This level of consciousness is a necessity to progress and establish a symbiotic relationship within our environment. By exploring the role of emerging technologies and society's infrastructure at various levels, design becomes a powerful tool to engage in the narration following with the achievement of a sustainable and resilient future for generations to come.

  • I believe humans have a biologically-based need to affiliate with nature, with its life and health depending on it. I also believe design should be used as a way to bridge between the living and the built within the same environment, as a way to re-connect and understand the inter-dependence between those two worlds. The process of learning how to communicate, represent and make sense of something is essential to start understanding these fundamental connections. As a designer and individual, my actions are guided by my understanding of what is sustainability and my curiosity in what could be a preferable future. The definition I use for the term of sustainability is communicated through all of my projects; discussing circularity within systems and how scale and the ability to balance between existing and emerging elements of this equation, is a necessity for a long term symbiotic relationship with our planet Earth.
